Hi...I have just decided to try to sell my engagement ring (divorce) and don't know where to begin. It was purchased at a retail jewelery store, and has an appraisal certificate from IGI (not sure if that means anything or not!)...any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Here are the stats: Round Brilliant Cut, solitaire Thanks for any help...don't know if this is enough info...but I would like to sell it, and have no idea where to start! Also, my appraisal certificate is from when the ring was purchased, and is based on a 14K white gold mounting, I upgraded to platinum, so I think I would need to get a new appraisal) (??)

JP, Sorry to hear about divorce… For how to sell the diamonds check StevL and Iceman recommendations in these threads: www.pricescope.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000177.html www.pricescope.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000014.html Could you go to the store where you bough it and ask for how much they will tale it back? You have to realize that the price for the similar diamonds in the Internet is about be $1200 - $1400 Pricescope |
