I have posted a few times recently regarding settings. I am so confused!! For the past few months I was completely SET on getting the Vatche Swan setting. Then within the last week I started considering other options. The reason for this is partly because I want the w-band to sit as close to the e-ring as possible (it doesn't have to be completely flush -- just very close). I feel as though with the Vatche Swan there would be too much of a gap between the e-ring and w-band. Also, I want to get a straight w-band so that it can be worn alone. So basically the past week I have changed my mind a million times over what setting I want to get!! I don't think I've ever had this much difficulty making a decision in my entire life!! I just want to make a final decision already!! ![]() ![]() The choices that I have considered are: Vatche Swan Vatche Royal Crown Replica Tiffany Classic Soliataire Having Mark Morrell create a similar design to the Lockes Signature Setting OR Mark Morrell's Petite Sunburst I think that my latest favorite is Mark Morrell's Petite Sunburst -- although that decision can change tomorrow!! ![]() The setting is absolutely beautiful and I love the w-band that is meant to go with it. The only thing is that the price is a little steep. Mark Morrell has a price chart on his website and for the diamond that I am looking to get (1.75 -- 2 cts) the setting would cost over 2k. Also, I wish I was able to try on the ring to see how it looks on my hand. I have tried on his Flame setting at GOG, but not the Petite Sunburst. What do you guys think??? Should I go with the Petite Sunburst?? or one of the other settings that I have considered??Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I feel your pain! It look me forever to make a decision! My head was swimming from all the wonderful possibilities. I continued to look even after the setting was chosen, but after wearing my ring for a while, I know it was the perfect choice. Good luck with your decision!!! ImpatientOne |

I have the Vatche Royal Crown in 18K yellow gold with a 3mm comfort fit wedding band and it sits totally flush. I absolutely lvoe my Vatche RC setting! The quality is amazing and it's so comfy! ETA: For the Royal Crown, are you looking for platinum or whitegold? I saw this morning that Pearlman's have a RC on consignment for a steal!

Hi guys! Thanks for all of your responses! february -- I am looking to get a platinum setting. ![]() As of right now I am still favoring the Petite Sunburst. ![]() How high would you say this setting is? Would the height of the setting be comparable to Tiffany's Classic Solitaire? I have tried on the Tiffany setting and felt as though the height was perfect for me. I have also tried on Mark Morrell's Flame and felt that the setting was a little too low for me, but based on pictures it looks like the Sunburst is set slightly higher than the Flame (closer to Tiffany's). Does anyone have any thoughts on this??Thanks for your help!!
