Many of you have read about my difficulty finding the perfect dress on my past threads. Two days ago I went to five (5!) more stores and finally, I think I've found the dress. I think I've tried on every style of dress! I tried on two more that I like, although I now have a clear favorite. Let me know what YOU think, then I'll let you know my thoughts.

Here's my original posts:

Oh, CALI!!!!

That sweetheart neckline is on you!!!!!!!

I also love how the top has lots of interest, with the texture of the fabric and the bling, and the skirt is more simple, smoother...but still with enough bling to tie it in with the design of the bodice!!!

You're going to knock 'em dead walking down the aisle! I like this one on you very much!

Oh, I didn't see this option...it's between these latest two, for me.

I'm really LOVING how flattering a sweetheart neckline is on you, and these final two have a more defined sweetheart than the ones in previous posts (although the chiffon-skirted, beaded bodice sweetheart #1 from your previous posts shows it too).

It's just my opinion, but I really love you in a sweetheart neckline...

OK, here we go now!  These two both look fabulous on you!  I told you before that I wasn't a huge fan of the other dresses on you (except for #2 on this thread http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=94858), and I am so glad you kept looking, because these are so flattering on you!  I am in love with dress #2.  I am sure you are in love with #1 because you posted more pics of it, and it is gorgeous, but I have to say #2 just flatters your body so well (and I am not a real fan of sashes)

I adore dress #2 on this thread - I'm biased of course, because my dress was extemely similar to #2

But I agree that both of these dresses look wonderful on you - the sweetheart neckline is definitely very flattering on you!

#1 hands down for me (I mean #1 on this thread).  And I'm still in love with dress #1 from post #1.

I saw it and thought that is a beautiful dress and literally went "wow"

I agree with Mediterranean that the sweetheart neckline really look nice on you.

For these two dresses, I'm liking the first one more. The only reason is because of the bunched up skirt of the 2nd dress... it makes the whole dress a little too busy for my likings. I really like to top bodice part and the bottom lace... and if the skirt is a regular plain fabric, it'll look awesome. Not sure about the sash though.

Having said the above, you sure look good on a lot of the dresses you have tried!

So.. which one is YOUR CLEAR FAVORITE??

I love both original dress one and this most recent dress one, but I think that new dress one is more flattering on you.  Who is the designer of new dress 1?

Cali, hands down I prefer #1!  I think both dresses accentuate your teeny tiny waist, but I'm not a fan of pick ups and I like the cleaner, sleeker lines of number 1, but that's just personal preference.  For what it's worth though, I still like 1 and 3 from this post http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=93890  Are these still contenders?  Which is your fav?

Goodsoul, dress 1 from post 1 was an Allure Couture dress, it's model C109.  The store didn't allow me to take pictures, so I had to sneak them.  It looks completely different on me than on the model, however (and I think that's a good thing!). I don't know if I think the netting looks cheap, though.

Morgie44, new dress 1 is by watters & watters, it's called st. germain. The salespeople said it's brand new and that I was the first to try it on. They said it looked a lot like Rivini dresses, for about half the price.

I agree, Morgie.....100% better on Cali.

I think because Cali actually has a waistline and a bust. The model on their site looks like a teenage boy in drag, all straight up-and-down. Cali's curves make the St. Germain. It's sorta turning into my favorite one on ya, Cali, LOL!!! But you'd be beautiful in any of your choices. With you, it's a case of the girl making the dress for sure, not the other way around.

Oh dear, this is killing me!  you look great in so many of these dresses...of these two, i like option #2 with the lace and the pretty sash.  I like it equally to dress #2 from post 2 with the empire waist, flowy fabric.  Which one do YOU like the best?  can't wait to hear!

p.s. i posted on your earlier thread by accident when i was looking back to see the old dresses....that's why you have the threadbump - sorry!

New Dress #2!!

This one is so beautiful on you. the empire waist is so, so much more flattering on you than the drop waist, or even the natural waist dresses. Please forgive my directness in saying that the other dresses look cheap to me. Cheap beading and cheap material. I especially do not like the appliques/beadwork going up your backside on New Dress #1. Who wants to draw more attention to their butt? But New Dress #2 not only flatters your figure and makes you look beautiful, it looks elegant and sumptuous.

YUP!  I like it much better!  I think the sweetheart neckline is great but the first dress just looks nice but not the WOW like the 2nd other one to me!  They both are beautiful on you though!

Alright everyone,  I love these two new dresses.  The samples of both fit almost perfectly!

I LOVE the look of new dress one, it's a very vintage feel that also matches my ring. The crystal embellishments do not look cheap at all and are gorgeous. Here's the dress on the model: http://watters.com/product.php?coll=brides&showid=871 I think this dress is very flattering, but maybe not as flattering as new dress 2....However, I'm definetly planning on losing at least 10 lbs. I'd also need to order extra length, I tried the dress on with flats to take pictures. But that's no big deal.

I think new dress 2 is the most flattering, but like I said, I'm  also going to lose a little weight, so maybe new dress 1 will be just as flattering. I think the dress is gorgeous (I'd cut the bottom of the sash and change the color, though), but it's not at all what I imagined my dress to look like. I was worried that some of the empire flowy dresses weren't bridal enough-well, this is the complete opposite.

So I think I'm leaning towards new dress one. But I'll take any comments into consideration as I make my decision. I have more pictures of these two dresses if anyone wants to see. I've also tried on MORE dresses than I've posted, so if anyone has a similar body (I'm 5'9", size 8-10 in street clothes, very curvy)  and wants to see other styles of dresses, please let me know.

#1. Sleek and elegant. And it looks gorgeous on your figure.

I really like #1 on you as well as #1 in the first dress thread.  You look so beautiful in the empire waist dresses, but also great in the first dress in this thread.  I don't like #2 at all (sorry, just my opinion).  I think it it looks too busy and kind of messy... maybe it's because it needs to be steamed.  I'm not getting the lace part at the bottom... just too much going on in my opinion.  I dunno... it's a tough call because you look so great in so many styles!  I think for me it's #1 in this thread or #1 in the first thread.

Thank you to everyone for so much help! I really appreciate it. I think I'm going to go once more to try on these last two dresses with the right veil, jewelry etc to make a decision. But I think I'm leaning towards the Waters & waters dress...

#1! #1! #1! It's divine.

#2 is lovely as well, so it's not going to be a wrong choice either way. But to me, #1 is THE dress.
