HI:

Well maybe one day..............

I couldn't resist that LARGE (yes ELLEN large) dreamboat of a ring from AC Stones....it is not a ring for everyone because it is for ME!  I'll have it next week after it is sized down to a 6.  Barbara could not be more accomodating, I'll miss her!

http://www.acstones.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=8&idproduct=2436

I promise next week when I get it I'll take pics--just for Ellen--of ALL my jumbo colored stone rings...it is the least I can do!

cheers--Sharon

that ring is large and in charge.... I love the carving on the rose and the contrast between the jade and yellow gold. Don't forget to post handshots ASAP!

HI:

Large and in charge...I have to remember that one!  The color of the Jadeite looks dreamy....

P.S. Thanks Andrey for moving this thread to the correct forum!

That is a stunning work of art!! I sometimes feel bad that faceted transparent stones get all the flash, but that is one classy, exquisite piece!!

HI:

Thanks LInda--I can't help but feeling the same.  Barbara said she can't wear many/rings or she would have taken the ring for herself.

HI:

Agreed UG.  I was drawn to the organic nature of the style of the ring.  My sister has a marvellous carved malachite--and that is the only other carved piece in our collectives (jewellers daughters...).  We all tend to have facated stones as you suggest...

Holy gargantuan ring batman!

Wow, I love the butterscotch color, just yummy! And I adore flowers.

Congrats Sharon, you have a really pretty, unique piece there. Wear it in good health my dear!

And I will be watching this space for your whole collection, should it fit.....

HI:

hehhehheee  thanks Ellen!  Now all I need are Coati props--do you think a "jumbo" jet would be apropos?

Barbara stated in the ad for his ring--"not for a shrinking violet"...that would be, well, someone I know....ahem .  I would be that person who buys those huge Estate pieces--ala Oscar Heyman with giant Persain Turquoise or coral.....and the like.....
