I have a lovely RB 1.10 carat pink spinel and I'm looking for a white gold or platinum halo setting. I prefer channel set stones to pave and I love the look of a split shank. I'm pretty active, so a low profile is an absolute must. Anyone seen anything like this?

Channel-set isn't all that popular right now, so I think it will be hard to find in the design you are looking for. But here are a few split shank halos:

DS sent you some really pretty BK settings!  I know you said you have a preference for channel set, but I don't think I've ever seen a channel set halo.  Pandora has a split shank that I believe is channel set, but no halo.

Oooo, I love the third one, but I wish it looked "cleaner". Those little dots on the edges bother me and so do the feathery designs on the bottom half. I wish I could find that one without those dots. Wow, my jewelry vocabulary is astounding!

I'll try to take some pics of it this afternoon.
