I finally have all the stats on the diamond. Any opinions and input would be appreciated! Round brilliant .85 carat H SI1 diamond, GIA laser inscription meas. 6.07-6.12x3.78 mm depth: 62% table: 56.4% girdle: thin to medium, faceted cutlet: none (1.1%) polish/symmetry: very good/very good no flourescence crown angle 35.5 degress pavillion angle: 41.1 degrees (43.3 %?) I'm not sure if I'm readiing this Sarin report correctly girdle thickness: 1.0-1.7% Price: $2993 excluding Washington state sales tax. What do you think?Thanks! |

Cryoung, it is good that you were able to get Sarin for the diamond before purchasing it! I'm sorry but the answer is - NOT RECOMENDED. This diamond is indeed within AGS ideal range and you are going to pay premium for that. However, this is the worst (steep/deep) combination of the pavilion and crown angles for AGS0 diamond. Have a look at this part of tutorial: www.pricescope.com/tutor_agsideal.asp Holloway Cut Adviser gives for these proportions only 5.1 - Good - Only if price is your main criterion It can be a nice diamond but definitely not worth the premium for ideal.
