I started a thread in the colored stone section but I know it will get more exposure here. Thanks for any input in advance. http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=94992

Not sure what to tell you...Which do you want more, an upgrade setting, or a Leon?

Thanks for replying Ellen. Actually.. the stone is loose.... I think I am getting "caught up" in wanting a Leon setting in the worst way. Unfortunately, my wallet has a hard time doing that..................

Date: 9/12/2008 10:29:24 PM I guess I missed you story, did you get the Knox setting? If it is loose send it back and have them tighten it.

The stone is loose. I bought it about a month and a half ago from Simply Sapphires. Originally, I wanted to do a Leon setting but after talking to him, I got cold feet. I thought I had a decent budget ($3,500) but I think he wants more than my budget would allow. You have to read the other thread to see what kind of settings I was considering from Leon. I can't wrap my head...or my wallet around spending $4,000-$5,000 on a ring that I may not wear as often as my ering.... I still want a Leon setting....... I may do what my original plan was...... to take my ering and have it reset by Leon in an "Asprey" style setting.......

Have you considered Maytal Hannah? her prices are reasonable, and her work is amazing, down to the double claw prongs.
