I have just GOT to express my amazement with this company! I have a very small foot (size 5; maybe 5.5 if I'm lucky) and I have a really hard time finding shoes. Shoe shopping has always been a miserable experience for me (ranks right up there with shopping for jeans and bras, LOL) ... enter Zappos into the picture. I was turned on to them about two years ago by one of my colleagues and they just continue to amaze me EVERY TIME. Free shipping both ways is fantastic (and belive me, I have sent back probably as much as I've kept) and their turn around is virtually unbelieveable. I ordered a pair of sandals at 11:15 LAST NIGHT and I am WEARING them right now. How is that even possible?!? I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! (If only everything else in the world worked like this!) |

Seriously???? That's amazing! I've never ordered thru them......but I think I might have to start!  So its hassle free returns if they don't work out? Thats what always makes me nervous.

I love them too and if you find a cheaper pair elsewhere they beat the price by 10% or something like that! I love amazon too for online shopping; we have the 1 click

Joflier, for returns all you do is go on the site, pull up your order, click on the things you want to return, print out a return label, tape up the box, and back it goes. Just like MAGIC! Skippy, that "one click" shopping scares me -- I have on more than one occasion accidentally bought something I only ment to put in my shopping cart to think about. Yikes!

That's awesome! I haven't ordered anything from Zappos yet but I have noticed how most online shoe places have free shipping and returns, which I love! Who needs to go out to a shoe store anymore? LOL. Even better is fast turn around time! I was curious so I looked at Zappos and it says Standard Shipping is delivery within 4-5 business days so were you just lucky to get them overnighted to you? Or you must live near their distribution center.

Snlee, that's a good question about the shipping thing now that I think about it. I once received a message that my package would arrive in X number of days, but then I immediately got another email that my order had been prioritized and would be there the next day. So maybe it depends on the dollar amount of the order or something like that (I usually order several pairs at a time, and they are usually over $100 each)? Glad you pointed it out though becuase I hope I didn't mislead everyone into thinking all orders are overnight if that's not the case...

Just don't like the long wait!

I would love Zappos if I wasn't so overwhelmed by it! I load a page of different colored heels and I can't click fast enough. Sometimes I have to exit out quickly because it's just too much.  ... but I always go back and look again. ~ Let all the people of the world say what they please I alone know what I do ~ |

I *love* Zappos as well. I have the best luck there! I think the shipping thing has something to do with being a return customer and how many returns you have. Anyway, they are just awesome!

And I also love how people actually give reviews. You can scroll down and if the majority of them say they fit snug, or hurt their feet after one night, or the base of the heel was too small - whatever the case - I know they have many more options to choose from and I can heed the advice from previous buyers.

They just did the same thing for me last week! I ordered 2 pair of shoes at about 11 pm on Labor Day, and they were in my hot little hands at about noon on Tuesday! I actually wrote them a testimonial asking about their magical shoe fairies because I was so impressed! And they wrote me back and told me they couldn't talk about the shoe fairies! So funny! I also always get upgraded to overnight shipping. It might just be because I usually spend a fair amount of $. Or maybe because I'm a repeat customer? I don't know, but I love it!

I have to admit I like endless.com better. At endless, it's next day shipping, about $5 cheaper than Zappos, and no tax. The only problem is not as much variety. But I'll order from endless any day of the week over Zappos. And that $5 more (which is pretty consistently how much they cost over the same shoe everywhere)--is paying for the shipping. Lol thing2! Don't worry, I'm not knocking Zappos--I just ordered from them recently actually--$150 purple sequined pumps that I couldn't get anywhere else (Literally. I got the last pair in my size that I could find on the internet.) and I got bumped up in shipping delivery time as well. Being that it was my first purchase from them I'm thinking I got it bumped up because of the price of the shoes...

I did just buy three pairs of sandals from Endless (my first time shopping with them -- sadly alll three pairs went back) but I found more things that I wanted on Zappos. Maybe it's a size thing? I know a lot of places just don't carry 5s because there isn't a large market for them, so possibly Endless is making a smarter financial decision and stocking more the mainstream sizes? But honestly, if I wanted something and Endless had it and Zappos didn't I wouldn't hesitate for one second to click there!

Love Zappos! I took my son with a hard to fit foot to buy shoes and they did not have his size in a shoe he loved. They had the next size down. So I came home, logged onto Zappos, ordered the shoes he liked in his size and 18 hours later, no kidding- ordered at 6pm, got them at noon the next day, his shoes arrived at my home. Cheaper than at the mall!

Oh how I love Zappos. They have so many great shoes to choose from-I love checking out their comfort shoes because I walk a lot and I mean a lot. They also have vegetarian shoes and they are so polite and helpful. I love to read how people have reviewed the various shoes and try to take the time to review when I have a chance. I don't think that they have their old price guarantee anymore but I could be wrong. I loved that price guarantee and miss it. But I still adore Zappos. If a shoe has a problem they fix it ASAP. They are staffed by compassionate humans not robots. I love the story about how Zappos sent flowers to a person who had just lost her mother. I read about it on Consumerist. A woman meant to send some shoes back to Zappos but her mother passed and with all that entailed she was just not able to. She got an email from Zappos about the shoes which had not yet gotten there (back to Zappos) and she explained that her Mom had just died so she had not been able to send them back. So Zappos arranged to have UPS come pick up the shoes to take that added stress off her. She later returned home to find a huge gorgeous arrangement of flowers with a card from Zappos. Now that is the type company that earns my business-just amazing.  Mrs.2Artists

Well, you all are right about the overnight shipping on zappos....SO's mom ordered a pair of Doc Martens on there for him and they showed up at our door today at 2 p.m. CRAZY!!!!! The packaging was very professional as well! I may have to order from them one of these days....lol....

I am a Zappos fan, too. Talk about FAST SERVICE for sure and amen!!! We ordered a pair of shoes for DH at 11pm one Thursday night and at 9am the NEXT MORNING they were here!!! TEN HOURS!!!  LOVE THAT!!! And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it! |
