ok, so i have the BM dress chosen and I thought I knew which color I wanted. Well, its so hard to tell from a 2" fabric swatch. When looking at the swatches, I am afraid the pale pink is too light. I am thinking the darker dusty rose is better and will provide a contrast. The dress has two kinds of fabric, so the two on the left are the petal pink and the two on the right are the darker dusty rose. And the color on the bottom is ivory, the color of my dress. Do you think the petal is too pale? Should I go w/ the dusty rose? thanks :)

Well it's hard to tell from my computer screen, but I think that the darker pink is better. The lighter shades seem to resemble your dress too much from my screen, but it might be more of a contrast in real life. |

Go with the pale ones. My monitor shows plenty of difference and so will your eyes when you see them "dress size".

I lIke the brighter pinks....just because in photographs I think it will look better and probably won't wash your bridesmaids out if they are fair-skinned

I like the darker pink better, but it depends on the skin tones of your bm's. If their darker skinned, then the pale might look nicer.

I like the pale pink better...and don't worry, EVERYONE will know that *you* are the bride even if your BM's are wearing light dresses too.

For my BMs, I have two fair skinned blondes, one tan dark-blonde and a porcelein skin dirty blond/light brown. Everything Works Out for a Reason |

One of my girls had a reddish tan and dark hair and the other girl had light dirty blonde hair and fair skin... they looked great in a very light pink like that.
