So, I am looking into WhiteFlash creating this ring for me without diamonds around the band, and hopefully a little thinner of a band. I don;t know that much about diamonds except for cut and color - not sure what most of this other stuff means, or what is most important! |

Those are both excellent diamonds by the look of it, what are the colour and clarity?

Okay - I just noticed the color and cut - didn't see it on there. They are both J and the first is VS1, the second VS2. Hm, is J too low? I wonder if I should get a smaller diamond, but better quality?

Date: 9/12/2008 12:29:08 PM Depends. For many, it's fine in a very well cut stone, which this is. And stones under a carat show even less warmth (it might look creamier, but won't look yellow). But if you have no idea if you're sensitive to color, you might want to get out and look at some well cut stones, like Hearts on Fire and AGSO. Look at them in natural light, and alone. (You could very well see the difference between an F and J next to each other, but it's what it looks like alone that really matters).
