Hello all,

My boyfriend and I were on the verge of engagement a while back, then we weren't and now we're on again.
We've actually already set a date but we've been having some difficulty finding the diamond.

What I'm wanting is a round brilliant F color, eye clean SI1, 1.8-2.1 ct (closer to 2 of course ).
I like a bigger table because I prefer chunky flashes to tiny sparkles.  Does that even make sense to anyone?
I don't know how else to word it.  No fluorescence, very good symmetry, very good polish, and an excellent rating on the HCA. Table 58-60 and depth 59-61.

What can we expect to pay for a stone matching these descriptions?  What price range would be considered a great deal vs. being duped?

Thanks so much!

We are dealing with several jewelers that some coworkers have recommended and we're not sure.

Thank you all so much!!!

Honestly, that range is so huge...you could go from 15K to 30K...I think it's more helpful to decide your budget, and then work within that...?

I don't think a bigger table makes bigger flashes.  That's more like minor facets.

And I thought I was being specific....

I feel like the more research I do, the less I know.

Julie, what do you mean by minor facets?
Am I just crazy?

Use the Pricescope Price Comparison to look up prices. The two carat jump is usually significant.

A bigger diamond of the size you propose should give chunkier flashes anyway, look for the best cut and balance you can get, then you should get the performance you want.

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...
