so i was searching for "how much are HOF diamonds" but didn't find any exact numbers. I just called a local place and they pulled some price info for me for some HOF stones...

0.7c H SI1, $6,900

I've never seen a HOF diamond so I'm not going to comment on if they are worth the extra $ or if they really are the best. But just for comparison I just got my WF ACA 0.716c. H SI1 for $2,600

When looking in the mall stores, prices for similar size/color stones were about $3,500 - $5,000 from what I remember (lower cut quality though).

Heres some other HOF prices I was given:
0.60c H SI1, $4,465
0.72c E SI2, $6,755
0.61c H SI1, $4,520

They are pricey and an ACA looks just a good or if not better!

I priced a 1 ct HOF for close to $10000.  I bought a 1.32 ct ACA from Whiteflash for much cheaper (same color and clarity), and I have had 2 jewelers who carry HOF mistake my stone for a HOF stone.  I liked it so much and get so many complements that I bought .56 ACA stone for a pendant.

I have a 5-stone HOF ring that is gorgeous and super sparkly, no doubt.  But I honestly can't tell the difference between my HOF and the ACA stones.  Mine are all H color, si1.

I was shopping at a well known store in DE and was shown several unbranded GIA stones at .90-1.0 ct in the 4k-5k range and then was shown a HOF 1.0ct at $12,800 to "compare".  I ended up with an ACA from Whiteflash for around $4700 and couldn't be happier.  I'm a label lover but that was a little extreme for even me.

I was also given the $10,000 price for a hearts on fire 1 ct. And I think it was I color, definitely no higher than H, and was SI clarity. I was also told $10,000 for a 1 ct. I si2 "masterpiece" cut from Helzberg. I ended up with a 1.44 I vs2 GIA triple EX for $7,900. UNFORTUNATELY,  I didn't know anything about the whole GIA steep/deep problem and ended up with one of those. I am now having it recut but STILL, I will end up with a 1.35-1.395 I vs2 with a WHITEFLASH cut for under $9000. This includes the original stone, the setting, the recut, the re-certification and all. Too bad I didn't just spend 9K at WF to begin with--- that would have been a MUCH easier process!

I was quoted $35,510 for a 1.56 F/VS1 for a HOF stone. From another dealer I saw a A Similar speced stone 1.55 F/VS1 GIA XXX for $27330
