Enya Rough Rock Total Posts: 3 Last Post: 9/12/2008 Member Since: 9/11/2008	Hello, Thinking about buying this Tiffany & Co. saphire ring: http://albagem.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=41 Does anyone know what the proper color for a pink saphire should be (dark or light)? How can I tell if the saphire is really high quality? Is $5000 a good price for the ring? I just want to make sure the purchase makes sense and the value is there. Thanks, Enya

I have a pink sapphire that has a lot of fire to it and although not from Tiff & Co, has a beautiful rich pinky/magenta color, not light pink. The rings I saw at T & C usually have great color!

When I was in Beverly Hills a week ago, I went to their store and looked at the ring. I am new to colored stones and just wanted to make sure I am buying something that really has value.
