I bought an 14K white gold engagement ring yesterday and haven't decided if I want it rhodium plated. I really like the looks of the plating, but I'm worried that when it starts wearing off it'll look worse than non-plated. I don't want my gf to have to return every year to get it replated. Any experience good or bad with plating? I have a couple days to decide before he actually puts the stone in. Any suggestions? Thanks!
