Appt.'s with Leon - only 1 hour?

bebe Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,998 Last Post: 11/24/2009 Member Since: 11/20/2007	I am hoping to snag a Friday, 12th Sept. appt. with Leon. The stone has not yet been located, but I'm working on that! ( GOG ) Question. Leon's site states appt.'s are for 1 hour. How can one design a ring and make those kind of decisions in 1 hour? !! I will of course go armed with pics and ideas. But I don't want to feel rushed. Anyone ever get more than 1 hour and if so, how'd did you manage that !! ;) Do I just call him and tell him when I want the appt? We are only in NYC for a week and will spend the first part of the week with GOG. So this has to go like clockwork or I'll come home with no ring in works.

Can he be charmed I've read much about him, I "think" I know what I'm getting into! I love his sharp, razor edge claws. Hopefully our ideas will mesh and we will be on the same page. I thought I read here on PS that he spent 3 hrs. with someone. That's why I was curious how much time he has spent with other PS clients.

Deelight Ideal Rock Total Posts: 5,093 Last Post: 11/23/2009 Member Since: 10/4/2007	My FF designed our ring over email and the phone and I don't think it took him more then 20 minutes we both had a good idea of what we wanted though so that helped :). He did suggest another option to him but it is something we both didn't want and as far as I know he went ahead with something along the lines of what I wanted. I have no idea what the finished product will look like though. From all of FF's dealings with LM so far he has been really lovely, I think as my FF is really laid back their personalities mesh quite well. I have only spoken to him once and again thought he was quite nice. I would say if you need more then an hour he would most likely make it longer but to me an hour is plenty of time :). Very exciting though do you know what kind of style your after? __________________________________________________________ Sometimes if your really lucky all your dreams do come true ...............

Cushion center with traps on the side, diamonds on the shank. One thing I'd ike to have is diamonds on the basket, but not sure how to pull that off. I like so much, that is the problem. And I'm afraid of over doing it. Hopefully Leon will guide me. Now GOG has to find that stone!!

I am so hopeful GOG can locate a stone for me. I have very tight parameters, so like they said, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack!! .
