2cts diamond studs earring for 4387, H-I color I1 clarity

blue_diamond Rough Rock Total Posts: 14 Last Post: 12/7/2008 Member Since: 8/18/2008	Hi, I was offered a pair of diamond studs at a local jewelry store. The general overview is H-I color, I1 clarity for $4387. Is this a good deal? I have not seen it in person and will take a trip to see this weekend. Should I even bother? Thanks.

JoeNewbie11 Cut Rock Total Posts: 246 Last Post: 11/21/2009 Member Since: 3/27/2008	Are they lab graded stones? If not, they're likely I-K in color and I1 or I2 in clarity in GIA/AGS standards. You don't know the cut grade of these either. I found a 1 carat J on jamesallen fo $1,780. So I would say it probably isn't a good deal. - Joe in Caifornia

I have AGS 0, I1, H & I color, Ideal, branded stones for earrings (2.12ctw) and they were considerably more expensive than what you've been offered.
