I was wondering, for small diamond studs (around .50 cttw and smaller) would it really be worth getting ACAs or would the ready-set-to-go expert selections be ok? This is assuming you'd never want to upgrade. With the expert selections you get H/SI diamonds, if I were to spend the extra money on ACAs I'd probably get Js anyway. Is it a big price difference to get ACAs, or would the ES ones be more pricey due to their higher color? I hope those questions made sense Any opinions welcome. Thanks!

Date: 8/18/2008 6:08:58 PM Well, I guess if you want to upgrade to bigger ones in the future I would not go for the Ready SG since I don't think they are upgradeable; you might check out their website to make sure. What is your budget and we are happy to help you look! I have J colored studs and all I see is sparkle sparkleAuthor:Kelli I was wondering, for small diamond studs (around .50 cttw and smaller) would it really be worth getting ACAs or would the ready-set-to-go expert selections be ok? You can't upgrade the ready set to go ones, but I wouldn't ever want to upgrade. My ears are pierced really low and unfortunately (or fortunately for my bank account ) big studs do NOT work on me. If they're not very small, they flip downwards and look really weird. I'd be more concerned about the cut not being as good, but the expert selection stones are still supposed to be really good right? Especially on an ear, where I wouldn't be looking for arrows all day. I wouldn't want to pay more than $1000, and hopefully I could pay less. The 0.5 cttw ones are around $800 which is perfect, and it's something my fiance can easily pick out and buy himself. He said he was thinking of getting me some studs to go with my ring, but had NO IDEA what I'd want. These ready set to go ones seem perfect for us, but I don't want to miss out on sparkle either!

BTW I've looked at your studs many times and they are perfect! That's why I was thinking of trying to look for ACAs instead and going with Js instead of Hs. I just didn't know how comparable the prices would be. I would call them, but I think it will still be a while before I can actually buy them so I didn't want to bother them to start pricing stuff out yet.
