It actually happened last Tuesday but I have been having major camera issues and I could not post without the obligatory pics to show! So here's what happened... I don't post much so to recap a little bit, me and Fi have been together since junior year of highschool--7 years this summer, and we live together in upstate NY. He just graduated grad school last may and I have one more year of grad school. I had been down in NYC all summer for an internship and just returned back home with my sweetie for good! He had planned a vacation for us at the Sagamore in Lake George NY for a couple's renewal package including spa treatments! It was so great and relaxing, just what we needed to reconnect after a summer apart. So on Tuesday night we had a nice fancy dinner at a restaurant at the resort, and all throughout the day he kept suggesting we go for a walk after dinner, which I didn't find strange because we had gone for a walk after dinner the night before. It just so happened since the dinner was fancy anyway we were dressed up really nice just like I wanted it to be, and I had been getting manicures all summer anyway in anticipation of a proposal at any time! So it was raining during dinner and started to clear up, so after the check we went for a nice walk by the lake, and when we got to one of the boardwalks there were rose petals scattered everywhere. He said" what is this?" and I said, I don't know maybe someone dropped a flower basket", and he was like "No", and then he got down on one knee! I immediately started crying of course and he said the most wonderful things, and then he asked me to marry him! I of course said yes, rememebering that some LIW proposal stories I have read some ladies forgot to answer the question. Then we sat by the lake for a while and watched the sunset. It was perfect! Now to the ring: it's a Tacori 2620 setting with a 1.23 E SI1 round-brilliant. My Fi told me its Ex/ex/ex and it's goooorgeous! I'm so in love! Ok so now for the pics!
