My bf and I have been dating for 5.5 years and have been living together for two. We have known for a couple of years that we were the "ones" for each other. Our relationship has changed so much in the last two years, and definitely for the better. It is amazing how quickly you learn if you can live with this person for the rest of your life, and how you deal with the hard times (and good too :) ) And how much your love really grows and evolves!!!! We have recently gone to try rings on and picked our perfect ring!!! YEAH! The fact that we BOTH liked it is amazing.. hahahaha.. very different tastes. My sister and brother in law own a diamond business and we will be getting the ring through them. My bf requested that my sister go and look at the ring we found and "memorize" it. So she came and looked at it last Tuesday...... so now Im just waiting. I told him I wont be asking anymore questions related to engagement... as I want it to as much of a surprise as possible!!!!!! Getting through tough times together is just that: tough, but so incredible once you're on the other side of them! How convenient that your sister and BIL are in the diamond business! AprilD Cut Rock Total Posts: 122 Last Post: 8/7/2009 Member Since: 8/14/2008	Ok.. for the ring :) I should know how to explain it better because my sis is in the biz.. but its one of those things.. i just dont know all of the lingo.. so if Im explaining it oddly.. please excuse me.. haha Stone - Radiant with a 1.3 ratio so it looks rectangular... and while the size is up to him, I think that its going to be .7-.8 range... which is perfect and looks nice on my finger. Band is .42 points in total and is all 1/2 pointers.. so little sparkles.. and boy does it sparkle :) They are pave set on the top of the band and also on both sides of the band. Millgrain detailing as well on top and side. Does this make any sense? Ive only found one picture that looks SOMEWHAT close.

I love rectangular styles as well, and am going for a cushion with a 1.15 - 1.3 ratio so it's just a little rectangular. Can't wait to see it!
