Hello On this idealscope the center seems to be shifted to one side making the inner arrow portions look shorter on one side. This is an AGS0 diamond, was the diamond slightly tilted when this pic was taken? I would assume so since its AGS0 thoughts

it can be the photo or it can be the diamond, either way it is a very very fine stone

I agree with Garry, a very fine stone with very fine (but not top-top) precision optical symmetry. An ideal cut, but probably not a Hearts & Arrows stone. Something which you won't notice with the naked eye, and shouldn't eliminate because of it. In all likelihood this stone screams like a banshee. Interesting - I would have thought an AGS0 would have perfect symmetry. I wonder why this wouldnt get a ding for symmetry

Perfect technical symmetry, yes. Technical symmetry is how well the facets line up and how symmetrical they are. Perfect optical symmetry is a different thing, which requires as additonal degree of precision. How well crown facet angles line up with the opposing pavilion facet angles, etc. If they line up perfect it shows a perfectly symmetrical pattern top and bottom (Hearts & Arrows). This stone looks to have Ideal proportions with a top end Idealscope image and probably "near Hearts & Arrows" symmetry. A stone whose visual presentation will look fantastic. It's hard to say from the picture whether it's tilted or not. You could call up the vendor and ask for a re-shoot, but honestly the stone will be lovely either way. If it is a symmetry issue, it would be hard to notice in person.

The pic is from WF and i guess the normal person who takes pictures was out. I automatically assumed the diamond wasnt level during the pic because i thought i read somewhere from John Q that its typically tough to get the diamond level when taking a pic and it was an AGS0. Ill ask WF
