The last couple of days leading up to the wedding were pretty rough (including an argument with the priest at the rehearsal and a groomzilla breakdown while we were setting up the hall ), but the day itself was absolutely perfect! It was fantastic, and I really wish I could live it all over again! I LOVED everything, from my gorgeous flowers to the dresses and the hair, the music, the food... Even the non-pro cake was adorable (and apparently really yummy; I didn't really get to eat any except for a tiny bite). Heck, even my MIL's fugly pew bows looked not so bad in the church. Everyone was so gorgeous, it was amazing. I still can't get over how incredibly handsome my husband (!!) was in his white tux. The biggest hit of the party was definitely our entertainers. Instead of hiring a DJ for the reception, we hired two singers and they were AMAZING! We had more people over 40 than under, and everyone had a blast. Everyone kept telling us it was the best wedding they ever went to! I don't have that many non-pro shots that are really worth posting; all I have for now are those taken by my FIL with DH's camera and he mostly took pics of DH's side of the family (the only shot I have of my grandmother or my mother are of their backs while they're mingling or dancing...). But since I said I would post pics once I'm back from my honeymoon (which was great, btw), I found a few to tide you all over until I do a proper picture post. ******** R & J 08-02-08 Expecting baby on 12-30-09

The church were we were married is a very small church and I could easily see him when I was standing at the door getting ready to walk down the aisle. The morning before the ceremony was pretty hectic and we were running late, and I didn't even have time to see myself in full attire... So it's really nice to look at pics. I'm getting ready to throw the bouquet, and look at my sister (in the blue dress at the far left)!! Some of you probably remember how difficult it was with her before she left for Australia, but after she came back in early July, she was really fantastic and helped a lot with the last minute details. And on the day of... she was amazing. The minute I needed something, she was there. The minute my veil or train or something needed to be fixed so I looked perfect, she was there. Once the party started, she never left the dance floor (neither did I, it was so much fun!). ******** R & J 08-02-08 Expecting baby on 12-30-09

Looks like everyone was having a blast! _____________________________ "Hello Dollies" Combine 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press in greased 9x13 pan. On top, layer 1 package chocolate chips, 1 package peanut butter chips, 1 12oz can lightly salted peanuts. Top with 1 small can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat free big deal!). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes (the edges should be bubbly). I recommend not cutting them until the next day because it seems to take that long for the graham cracker bottom to really harden.
