So awhile back I posted a bit about my idea of a yellow/cream floral theme (heh, that rhymes) w/ pics here. Well, now I'm considering maybe the possibility of incorporating a hint of pale/blush pink to the mix. I feel like I must've seen a picture somewhere that inspired this, but I can't figure out where and am wondering if I could get some help with some inspiration photos? I don't want to get into the realm of baby shower colors, but I think it might add some nice variation/depth to the colors and maybe hints of black or dark brown would also be in keeping w/ our whole vintage-y wine country theme... |

I thought about doing that color theme as well, and I know I saw some GREAT pictures. Let me see if I can find them ... I'll get back to you soon.

Maybe I'm starting to get a little too far from what you wanted, but I think this is lovely too: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/bronze-bouquet?lnc=8fbc8f0b468ee010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=photogallery_brides-bouquets_weddings_brides-bouquets

Thanks so much for finding all of these, musincy!! Going backwards, I LOVE that last arrangement from the Martha Stewart site. It definitely has that vintage quality I'm going for and I like the muted pinks. That's probably one of my favorite color combos. I also really like the second from the bottom, though maybe would want a touch more yellow. The third from the bottom is also pretty but I think a bit more pink than I'm going for. Of the ones from the knot, these two are my faves and closest to what I have in mind in terms of color: Date: 8/6/2008 4:08:15 PM Author: musincy http://weddings.theknot.com/ODB/themes/realweddings/detailview.aspx?id=29536&type=3&wedding_details=Bridal+Bouquets&colors=pink http://weddings.theknot.com/ODB/themes/realweddings/detailview.aspx?id=20820&type=3&wedding_details=Bridal+Bouquets&colors=pink&pageIndex=2 I also liked the bouquet that's being held by the bride, although the pink is a little too pronounced for me. I think I'm looking for the colors to sort of blend a bit more like the ones above w/ the yellow a bit more noticeable. These definitely help give me some inspiration :) Thanks again for your help!!

Oops. Posted in your other flowers thread instead. Here's only only pic I have that fits the colors you are looking for. It's a centerpiece but it will give you the look. Have you picked a florist yet?

I think I might have responded about the florist in another non-floral thread, but it probably got lost in all the posts...but anyway, we haven't picked a florist yet as we're waiting to meet them in person during our trip to CA at the end of this month (I know...it does seem like it's taking forever to get here). I have an appointment w/ Katherine the day we fly in as well as appointments w/ 2 other florists. I'm hoping that will be enough for us to make a decision. I'll definitely keep you posted once we know!
