Any body know of any good hair&make-up person in the San Francisco Bay Area?

I have someone booked already, but after talking to her to set up the trial, I decided that I don't want to work with her. First off, she does not want to travel to me, she wants me to travel to her and 2nd, she doesn't listen. Maybe it was a language barrier as the person who recommended her to me was chinese and she speaks chinese. I don't think I want to waste my time and money on her. I would be looking for someone to do just me, my attendants are taken care of. Also, the person I originally booked was $350, is that the going rate? TIA

newbie124 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 584 Last Post: 5/24/2009 Member Since: 8/23/2007	Hi gtn, Yes, unfortunately $350 seems to be about the going rate for makeup/hair in the Bay Area I'm getting married up in Napa so my stylists might be too far for you, but there are a few people I previously contacted/read about who are further south and might work for you: Meaganne McCandess Makeup by Stacy Wow Pretty I've also heard good thing about a hair stylist, Mireya, who works at Elixir Salon, which is in Berkeley. HTH!
