So I decided to replace my e-ring which I have been unhappy with for awhile. I've been looking everywhere for a Tiffany-inspired solitaire setting that does not sit up too high. What do you think of this? http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/classic-solitaire-settings/ring/item_57-1948_design.asp?module=setting I think it'd be great for my petite hands & somewhat of an active lifestyle (hence the preference towards a lower setting). I haven't done business with James Allen (yet!) was wondering if there were any other settings similar to this from other vendors? It's so simple, and yet I've never seen something like this before. My only worry is that if I buy a wedding ring to go along with it, it may not sit side-by-side - but I could tolerate a small gap. |

I agree sitting lower will help. I would ask JA what wedding band could be paired with it or how much of a gap would there be according to them. Lovely ring!
