I recently purchased an emerald cut H, VVS2, 1.54, 7.91 x 5.98 x 3.60. After being used to a 12.12mm pear it looks a little on the small side so I think I want to either halo it, or add traps to add some size. I'll probably wear it on my pinkie finger, right hand (aprox. size 6). I'll post some possibilities in separate posts since I can't figure out how to add them to a single post.

That sounds lovely.. I saw a gal when before I moved jobs, who wore her emerald cut pendant e/w... it was the most stunning way I've ever seen it worn.

I like these rings also, and suspect they would need to be custom as I have no idea who made them.

This is also a Landi. In short, my taste is all over the place. I just can't make up my mind. Which are your favorites, and feel free to add other EC settings you love.

I did look at the Knox cielos. I like the double shank, EC set in rose gold with pink diamonds. Then I thought, uhhhhh maybe I like traps. I'm so frickin undecided.

It's a fabulously good diamond so it deserves something special though I don't think I want to invest more than $6K or so in a setting.

I like Leon's east/west.....it's not too overstated which I think would look good for a pinky ring.

*I admit however, I like the openness of the Leon.

For a pinkie ring an E-W setting for me would win hands down I think in terms of comfort and looks it would just work so well.

I really like this LM but I would do double claws on the centre stone

The GOG precision set is actually my favorite overall but for a pinky ring I think I might like the EW setting more. I love the top down view on each of the setting by Knox but the profile is a little bulky I think, esp. on a small finger. What a beautiful EC and fun project!

What about a setting like Leon's special birthday deal ring with traps on the side. I love that look.

Well I'm no help!  I like all the settings you posted.  If I had to pick I think I'd go with the Leon.  Do you think it would be to wide for a pinky, though?  Hmmmm...I wonder if a n/s orientation would be better than e/w for a pinky.

OMG!!!  YES!!!  That is one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen; I don't think I've seen an east/west EC before.  Oh, drool . . . . . .

I know which setting I'd choose!!

No, you aren't - I think it is very classy and beautiful as well!
I wanted to actually upload another Durnell...what do you think? Oooohhh...maybe with a trap on either side instead of the band continuing up towards the stone...custom setting ala Leon? Can you see it?

Someone posted this AMAZING creation a long time ago, and I saved it to my inspiration folder. Isn't it to die for? I believe it was from Fay Cullen.

I like that alot, thank you.

Liz C does create some pretty rings, but my idea of long distance is NYC. Singapore is a bit too far for me

The Maevona is interesting. I think I'm not really the organic type though.

The other Durnell seems to bulky too me with the shank running across the middle.

My style is either classic, art deco, or vintage. At least I think so

Since I have chubby fingers (ring finger 8.5, pinky 6.0) I'm not too concerned about the width of the rings. East-West should fit OK since it's only 1.54. I wish I had a diamond large enough to be worried about too much width
