New 12x128px avatars seems to be too big while old 40x44 were too small.

derekinla Cut Rock Total Posts: 467 Last Post: 6/16/2005 Member Since: 9/8/2003	Lawgem, It's the family dog - a lovely mutt (sheperd mix) named "Flash" we rescued from the shelter when he was just a puppy. He must be like over 12 years old at this point but looks much younger than his stated age He's also a functional doorbell as he barks whenever people are at the door, garage door opens etc... Despite his bark, he's the most mild mannered (bordering on meek) dog I know of. The latest gossip about Flash is that ge got "skunked" the other day and had to be "de-skunked" by my parents. The old tomato juice trick is an old wives tale and they had to use some hydrogen peroxide/detergent/baking soda concoction to get the funk out. I miss flash (he's 3000 miles away) so I wanted to dedicate my avatar to him Derek in Los Angeles

For years I thought one was supposed to bathe the animal in tomato juice, then rinse. That was the method we used with our last dog (a Golden). Recently I learned that one is supposed to let the tomato juice DRY on the dog. I doused Biscuit with tomato juice and left him outside for a few hours. (No, it wasn't winter!!) I rinsed him with a garden hose later and he was MUCH improved!!! Deb A Girl's Best Friend
