Jeweler I am talking to says they can make a version of the ME 1 setting but isntead of the head being totally flat, it would have a slight angle to it. That way you could see the diamonds while looking at it from the side. How does everyone think that will look? Once I figure how to post a *&#&^$& picture here, I will do so. P.S. HUGE PET PEEVE IS YOU CAN'T LINK OUTSIDE THIS SITE FOR A PIC!

Let's try this. Just view it directly on the James Allen site. You will see what I mean by the head being totally flat and top diamonds not viewable from the sides. How would it look if the top was angle'd slightly? http://www.jamesallen.com/products/item_294-1129.asp

Like it was crooked. IMO anyway. I've seen a couple of halos set that way and they just look lopsided to me. "Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say and not giving a damn." -Gore Vidal |

I agree, too - that profile is sleek and modern, and the top view almost has a hint of art deco to it, hiding the secret of the sleek modern lines of the profile below!
