Hey jcarlylew, thanks for thinking of me!! Actually, we leave this Thru morning and will return Mon the 4th. I'm so excited, yet I think I may be giving myself an ulser, worrying about how everything is going to go with his family... It's been 2 yrs, I can't believe I'm still worrying about this? I really need to chill out. I'm getting my nails done tonight and then my hair done tomorrow. Those should help!!  ___________________________ |

Not my first time. We'll be in Manhattan the whole time. His sister is a professional dancer and lives there. I'm most excited about the Yankee's game and eating at the Boathouse. I've never been to central park.

I found out on my last trip that there is no sales tax on clothing items or shoes $100 or less (or is it $110?). Also, if you go to Macy's - go to the customer service department and show them your driver's license. You will get a visitor's pass (good for a week) that entitles you to 11% off. For higher dollar items - you can have them shipped to your home (most places will do it for free) and you can avoid sales tax. My husband and I enjoyed the original Bond no 9 store (at 9 Bond Street). _____________________________ |

My neglected left ring finger is trying to convice me of things that aren't really happening, and trying to get my hopes up!!  (mom, dad and grandmother calling to tell me how exciting this trip is going to be... C has been working late last 2 days??? (Duhh Mere, my family should be excited, it's an awesome trip... and obviously he's going to be working late, he's going to be away for the next 3 business days)We are less than 12 hours from leaving and I need a serious reminder that it is NOT going to happen. This trip is just for fun, and not about us... This is really hard...  Back to more laundry, and cramming clothes into ONE bag. Uggh!!! ___________________________ |

Have an awesome trip.. give NYC a big hug for me....! I know that you are going to constantly wonder the entire trip.. just enjoy whats around you.... NY is a great place to forget and just live in the moment! you will have an amazing time!!!!! Safe trip and i am sure i speak for a ll of us when i say.. we cannot wait for details! (and pictures) I am going to dust dust dust you... just in case!

I'm hoping it happens for you (I have a feeling that it is!!). Plus, I wanna hear all about it as this is the place my bf and I are going in 9 weeks and it's rumored he's proposing there.... Plus NY is fabulous--I've been 4 times in the past 2 years and fall in love with the city every time.
