It's this one, sans bolero: http://www.chanel.com/fashion/8-spring-summer-2008-chanel-collection-look-46,1#8-spring-summer-2008-chanel-collection-look-46,1 It has been almost completely re-made. All the black is gone, as are the pockets. The dress has been structured (darts at the back and in front) and shortened. There are bands of sequins (since they blend in with the dress, they are not loud at all) on the top and the hem. The same bands have also been added as shoulder straps. Below the bustline, and in between the darts, there is a white satin bow with a fabric camellia.

Any ideas as to accessories? Thanks!

What a beautiful dress!

I think a pair of chandellier-type earrings or maybe drop-ones and a nice sized bracelet would look amazing with that dress. I would personally not wear a necklace (I think), since the dress has some details, and sholder straps....

Hi and thanks!  I was thinking of drops too, but I don't have any at the moment.

What kind of shoes are you thinking about? I think chandeliers would be pretty too.

I just checked Barmakian's website, and they have tons of chandellier/drop type earrings...

I'm not sure what look You're going for, but I think pearl-drops would look nice...maybe something like this:

http://www.barmakian.com/catalog/view.x?s:e_07_80/c:earrings/p:1

or this:

http://www.barmakian.com/catalog/view.x?s:e_06_390/c:earrings/p:3

And get something like this for the bracelet:

http://www.barmakian.com/catalog/view.x?s:n_06_200/c:bracelets/p:6

but instead of a single row of pearls, get them to make it into 3 rows...?

Thanks! Pearl drops would be perfect. I saw a pair yesterday -- 3 diamonds in a vertical row; thinner chain; smaller pearl; thicker chain; bigger pearl. As I already have a strand of pears from the same brand, do you think wearing it will be too much?

The earrings sound beautiful...I LOVE pearls, I have a strand of pearls (necklace) and pearl earrings  (studs), I never wear them together though, I either wear the necklace on it's own, or the earrings with my moms 3 row bracelet. I donät know, I just find the pearl earrings and necklace to be a bit overwhelming when worn together. Just my humble 2 cents...But I think it totally depends on Your style, and what You feel comfortable wearing.

You don't like the bracelet idea?

I like it, but I don't want to smash the pearls! You must be very gentle.

Freke, I've posted a photo of my shoes (and my red dress) on my count-down thread.

Harriet, I am not very good at accessorizing, but I wanted to say that I love your dress!

Good luck finding some great jewelery to wear with it; I think pearls would be great. I love pearls.
