4th of July wedding and church |

Is anyone getting married on the 4th next year? I know a few ladies (Haven) did this year. I found one church (my church) that is closed on the 4th of July. Is this normal? I'm not attached to the church or the day yet but just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem...FWIW I am Catholic but FI is Presbyterian

When I was looking at open dates for my church (Lutheran) I noticed that it was also closed on July 4 and the rest of that weekend (they still hold services but you can't have a wedding that weekend). Several other non-religious holidays were also not available. I bet it's pretty common since pastors/priests/etc. probably want to take vacation for those holidays like the rest of us!
