Hi everyone. Wanted to know what the cost would be to custom design a Ering from WF. I know I depends on the materials used and style so I know it will vary but wanted to know if anyone had any general ideas. I'm totally new to this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Best to contact them on Monday and ask.  Too broad a question.  I find their prices to be very reasonable.  Good luck.

Have you an idea or picture of what you want? If it is close to something they already make with a modification it'd be less expensive than something from scratch but either way they are the ones to contact. I would guess between $1k and $4k. Of course, it could be more with side stones and platinum.

I was thinking of something along these lines but maybe with a slight modification. Also any thoughts on if an asscher would look good in a setting like this??

I think an asscher would look great in a setting like that, but I think channel set carre cut diamonds would look even more amazing instead of rounds.  I think you should also have the head flow more and be integrated with the shank.

Sorry, I can't say how much WF would charge to custom design, best to call them up and ask.  However, I do think that they would do a lovely job on a design like this.

Well, I can tell you what mine cost if that helps. For a plain but substantial half-round platinum shank (2.3mm at widest point) with 2 small princess-cut surprise diamonds (0.05ct x2) and a double-pronged head to hold a 1ct princess set low in the shank, it cost about $1700. There was some sort of a discount, either for PS members or maybe for buying diamond and setting together.

Here's the info on mine, so you can get an idea of what $1700 buys you at WF...

Wow... I love that custom setting.  Very classic looking with an extra touch to make it stand out.

Thanks! The only problem now is finding a wedding band that curves around the head, since I had it intentionally set low!
