It looks like a present and it's SO CUTE! But...I really can't justify spending 35-40 on it. At least not for me...so...for some crazy reason last night...really really late...I just COULDN't get off the internet! I found THE SAME BOX on CL for 10.00!!! WHOOT WHOOT! She still has it! She's holding it for me! It's not the right color, but I can spray paint it! I LOVE saving $$$!!!! I can't wait to help another bride out when I sell all my stuff and she's all excited to get it as well! YAY! With out further waiting...here's my card box!!!! What do you think? I'm going to spray paint it silver with sparkles! Stephanie

My coworker bought a decorative box from Marshalls that was exactly the same size as yours. It was decorated already with pink peonies so it actually kinda matched. She sliced a hole in it and put lace (not the frou frou kind at all) around the edges. Looked great for $6.33 !! It looks nice the way it is but I bet silver sparkles will look cool. Post a pic after you spray it??

Besides, it sounds like a much easier way to accomplish the look you're thinking of. It looks like it might be difficult to get a uniform look if you try to use silver, mind you I'm no spray paint expert! Why were you thinking of painting it silver? Would it look too 25th anniversary-like? Maybe sparkly white looks more "wedding"?
