Beware of Cape Town, in many cases it’s a tourist trap Here is a link to an exceptionally good diamond-cutting factory in Johannesburg that does deal with the public at excellent prices. I was there for almost 2 months and witnessed a bunch of crimes and was almost the victim of one myself. It's a scary town to be in. Everything shuts down at 5pm and don't go out after dark. Tanya
