A diamond I am considering purchasing online is VS2, J, and GIA certified. On the report under the comments section it lists "Brown patches of color are not shown", any idea what that means? I've read allot of here but this is my first post. Thank you to everyone who posts regularly, your information has helped me out tremendously.

Greetings and welcome to the forum sydric, "Brown patches of color not shown" in the comments section is a new one on me. It may have to do with internal strain or grain within the stone as I've observed a phenomena like this before but never saw it noted like that before. You may want to have it appraised by an appraiser who has a polariscope (or polarizing filters) just to make sure. Rhino Rhino |
