Did some hiking. We were about 15 miles from the boundary waters took the canoe up into that maze , the H2 Hummer was in heaven

I had a girl ask me if I was a professional hockey player She said I had to ask , I saw the Hummer and the Plates "Iceman"

It was a nice get away

Nice! Sunrise and sunset are my serenity moments. There is nothing like grabbing a nice hot cup of coffee or tea and sitting on the rock wall out front first thing in the a.m. In the winter months we have a clear view of the pequest mountains from our mountain, and the sun rises just behind them. The colors, the mist rising, the clean smell of dew in the early autumn morning mingling with the burning hickory and oak in the fireplace...nothing like it! Gives me a moment of calm in an otherwise crazy day.

Ice, your view was incredible and looks like you got lots of serenity there. I'm glad for you. I hope you don't mind me adding my Hawaiian rendition...

We went camping at a black sand beach a couple of weeks ago, this was our view after the ball dropped into the horizon. The kids did night some fishing and we dipped in a brackish water ice pond to cool off during the days. Whew, it was hot!

The gang of kids from our two families beside the evening campfire--even they admitted "life is good."
