Dear PS Members: I would like to know if anyone has insured their diamond engagement ring with Chubb Insurance while residing in Missouri (Columbia) or if anyone knows of a particular agent in the Columbia, Missouri or general Missouri area that will provide me with a policy to insure the diamond engagement ring? I called the only place (The Insurance Group, Inc.) in Columbia, MO that provides Chubb insurance (found through Chubb's agent locator) and I was told that they do not provide a "cash out" policy. Could anyone provide me any assistance? Thanks, Kenneth S. Hettie |

Ken, If the value of your piece is $10 K or more, go to the White Flash website, click the "Touchstone" link, and Ralph can help you. If sub 10K, it may still be possible, if you're persistent, type "chubb" into the search box hear, and have the patience to read lots of threads. Ira (Ruffles have Ridges) Z. |

Ira, I went through Touchstone Insurance via the Whiteflash website. spoke with David and Ralph, and was able to obtain the cash-out policy for slightly under the 10K minimum for $128 annual premium. The two individuals were very helpful and very polite
