Sorry about the short subject title.  I hit enter before I was done typing.  Newbie mistake.  ;)
Let me try again,
I have a diamond that I inherited from 1930's (may the 20's).  The setting is bad on it so it needs to be reset.  This diamond is very special to me.  I am looking for a setting that will hold a diamond that is .75 of a carat.  I am looking for a setting that is classic and would be similar to those found during that time.  I don't have the specs on the diamond.
I love the look of halos.  The diamond is a round.  I especially love the look of poshpepper's yellow sapphire ring.  Poshpepper if you see this, I would love to have the name of your jeweler.
Thanks!

Look at Whitehouse Brothers. They do a lot of antique repros. http://www.whitehousebrothers.com/index_flash.php#rollout

Also Beverley K  at Pearlman's Jewelers http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/beverley-k-jewelry/rings/

Van Craeynest http://www.vancraeynest.com/

Richard Landi http://www.richardlandi.com/  I just ordered a halo (in photo) from him for my .63 ct. round. I went to a show of his jewelry and saw so many gorgeous halos, it was hard to pick. The sapphires won out!

I would try paging Poshpepper so she see's this.  You might check out faycullen.com and singlestone.com   How exciting to have a wonderful treasure like that!!!

Thank you for the leads!  I will look into them today.  I am glad to see what I am looking for is being "understood" by my post.

How would I go about doing that?  Paging someone...is there a board I would start a topic "Paging PoshPepper"?  Does it matter which board?

Thanks!

Hi Anne-Josee, welcome to PS and thanks for the compliments

My jeweler is local to Los Angeles and does not have a web presence, he is located in the LA Jewelry District.
Let me know if you are local to Los Angeles (or if you aren't and still want the info) I would be happy to provide you with his information.

Yes, Poshpepper, if you do not mind I would love to have the name of who designed your ring.  I keep coming back to it when thinking about what I'd like to do with my diamond.  Of course, it would be modified quite a bit since I have a round diamond.
Thank you for your help!

You could also try Single Stone. They have tons of antique repro styles to choose from as all they do is antique and antique styles.
