Supposedly, my gift from the FI for the wedding is a 17 on a scale of 1-10. I confirmed this rating with my mom and girlfriend.  I'm dying to know what it is, but have no idea. I've ruled out a car or a house.  Maybe a trip somewhere in a few month?  Any ideas?

Also, now I have no idea what to get him.  I obviously cannot get him a "17".  What are some things you've gotten for your spouses or soon to be spouses?  I don't even know where to begin.  He's the hardest person to shop for.

I really have no clue what your FI could be cooking up, but I can certainly commiserate!  FI has known for a while what he's giving me, and I know my MOH knows his plan.  Every once in a while one of them will say something obviously in reference to it, but I've never gotten any useful clues to help me figure it out.  At the same time, I have no idea what to give him (well, I have some ideas, but I'm not sure they're good ones), and my MOH seems afraid to give me advice for fear of accidentally giving away what FI has planned.  It's maddening.

Some of the top gifts I've gotten him are a Wii (he loooves it), tickets to Pirates games, and very good tickets to a Steelers game (he's a Pittsburgh fan).

I doing the thing that he wants the most right now - a PS3. Something he would never buy himself, ever. I even had to get the PS2 for him years ago.

Dreamgirl - I really don't think it's jewelry because he's gotten me a pretty nice collection over the last couple of years.

Ladyciel - How frustrating!!  Have you tried getting it out of them?

Aprilcait - Those are great gifts. We already have a Wii...maybe he'd like tickets to a game. hmmm

Goodness. Then what could it be if it isn't a house or a car? Is it an animal that you would really like to have? You mentioned a possible trip in a few months. Do you already have a honeymoon planned? Maybe he secretly changed up the honeymoon location and will give you the tickets? HHmmmmm now I want to know!!!!!!!

I know!!  It's like a drug I have to have!  I'm thinking maybe he's extended our honeymoon? Or is just planning another trip over seas or something.

I cannot wait 38 days!!!!!

I know, sumbride.  The guessing is fun, but only for 10 minutes. The suspense is killing me!!!  A 17 !!!!??

Flat screen tv is a good idea, but he already had himself set up with fancy electronics before I moved in...ha.

Ok...my co-worker suggested...FIREWORKS! Good guess!!

FI still hasn't budged on the surprise. I've been patient up until this past weekend when I started getting anxious again. 17 more days!
