For what you are paying, the quality is decent for the reproductions. I have read that many are happy with what they received but there are some that don't like how uneven the engraving is, etc because it is a cast piece. It is ultimately up to you the quality that you are looking for.

You might look at Singlestone, and Pearlman's carries the Beverley K line which is very nice quality. ~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~

I had no idea Singlestone's custom work was so pricey. Anyway, I ordered a mounting from antiqueengagementrings.com several years ago and ended up returning it. The price was very good for a platinum mounting, but, to me, the quality just wasn't there. The melee they used was quite nice (bright and lively), but I would rate the workmanship as only mediocre. The company is certainly reputable and I wouldn't hesitate to buy an authentic antique ring from them -- Leigh, the owner, was very nice and accommodating and took the mounting back no questions -- but if you're wanting a really finely done antique repro, I'd probably look elsewhere. I guess it just really depends what your budget is and how picky you are. Good luck!

I would agree with the others... the price is very good, but the quality of the workmanship is only acceptable. For me, that's okay for now. Someday I will likely upgrade. I did find Leigh to be pleasant in person. Not so good with responding to emails though, lol. Good luck! Anne
