i gave my mom a present this weekend, one that i had been hoping to give her a few weeks ago for my wedding but events conspired to make that impossible. nevertheless, she loved the ring and i'm so glad she likes it! it meant alot for me to give it to her. she left the design up to me and her only requirement was to have all of the kids birthstones and her one grandkid (6 birthstones) in the ring. she had mentioned that she liked my floral beverly k ring so i decided to order a custom one for her from pearlmans. i've included a mock up of the ring that i gave to pearlmans and pictures of the final product. sorry there are no handshots available. enjoy! ETA: the topaz was originally supposed to be natural topaz but beverly k did not have it so they used blue topaz. after the fact, i would have liked the sapphire to have been in the middle to balance out the blue topaz and aquamarine but i didn't realize at the time that the blue topaz would look so similar to the aquamarine.

It's very pretty! My mom wants a mother's ring and we've been trying to buy her one for ages but she's very picky about jewelry and we need 8 stones haha - only 6 kids but she wants one for her and my father too! Anyway, beautiful choice!

thanks ana! it's always a challenge with arranging so many colors so that it doesn't look messy or distracting. you could put 8 birthstones in this ring. i didn't replace the diamonds that are at the end of the flowers but you could put alternating mom and dad birthstones there. i just told mom that the diamonds represented dad :D
