The table is very, very small; I would not accept fair to good on symmetry or a thick girdle. It's also not very round. In addition, the color and clarity would be questionable because of the EGL. So I'd never spend $10,000 on a stone with that many problems. ~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~

Rather than spending a ton of money on something brand new, there are many people selling their engagement rings online for a cheaper price. This ring was up for sale and I thought it would be a better deal if I were to buy a "used" ring and have the diamond reset in a different setting. Is this ring worth buying for $10K? If not, how much should I ask to buy the ring for? I haven't seen the ring in person yet but I thought I put the ring's spec out there to get feedback from you all. Thanks!
