Please take a look at picture and specs on the 2.04 Emerald cut.  C

2.04
GIA
Cut:    Select Ideal
Color:    H
Clarity: VS1
Depth: 67.6
Table: 65
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry:  Very Good
Girdle: M to Stk
Culet: None
Fluor: None
Ratio: 1.27  ( a bit on the squarer side but my wife's prefers it to the more traditional EC ratio.)

This is my 3rd EC from ERD. I trust Mark's eye and evaluation. When asked about the H color on an EC, he says he has no reservations or hesitation on recommending this stone. Depth may be a tad deep but all in all, looks like a nice EC.

I have attached a picture....you reviews are welcome!

Thanks!
The Goat

Do you have the measurements?  I think I like it.  Did you resize the picture at all?  I'm no expert it looks longer than it is in the pic.

I didnt resize picture...this is the way Mark sent it.  Also, the ratio is a little more square than the 1.30-1.35 tradional EC.

I like it as well.  I was a bit apprehensive about the H color in an Emerald but Mark has assured me of it's beauty and quality.

Looks beautiful to me!  A GIA H is fine for most, a little borderline for some, but if it was recommended by Mark, I'd definitely go for it!

And the orientation of the photo seems like it's begging for an E/W setting.

This is a replacement ring....it will be in a 3 emerald stone white gold setting.

Here is a general picture of how it will look after the two EC side diamonds of about .5 to .6 on each side are mounted.

I think it looks great.  We just got my emerald from Mark this week and it is a J VS1 with basically the same ratio.  I think mine is a 1.28.  I love the look of it.  Here is the thread if you want to see a pic:  http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=87829

I agree that if Mark says the color looks good, I'd believe it.  Go for it.

BTW...what happened to the first one?

Oh, I finally found the post with the picture.  It is beautiful; I'd have no hesitation in snapping that gorgeous EC up.

I also like the specs.  Depth and color are ok in my view.  Have you actually seen the stone?  I think a few more pics would be nice (plus IS, ASET), since it looks a bit dark in the pic that you posted.  Looks really clean, though!

I haven't seen it yet. Mark selected last two and they were beautiful.

As we speak his is picking out the side EC for her 3 stone ring...they probably will be anywhere from .5 to .65 each side.

Should be stunning whe put together at a tad of 3 ct.

Yes, on the second loss they had us interviewed in our home by an adjuster, he took a recorded statement, they put the statement in writing and we had it signed and notarized.  We got our claim approved letter in less than a month with no hassle.
