Can a diamond be beautiful, even though the symmetry is graded with a "good" quality?

Before I knew anything about diamond cut, I thought most of them looked pretty good! However, once one is educated on diamond quality, I would never purposely purchase a stone that was not at least very good in polish and symmetry.  But sure, it could be pretty...just not as nice as one that is better!

Yes, it is said that good symmetry and polish and above, looks the same to the naked untrained eye,  however some do prefer higher as part of their diamond's package.

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...

Assuming that it is a round brilliant diamond that you are talking about then the difference between the top grades of symmetry is very small and it is rarely possible to detect the difference to the untrained eye without magnification. Where I would advise that you make no compromise is on the proportions or cut quality grades (e.g. Excellent for GIA, Very Good for HRD, 0 or 1  for AGS) as the different grades for cut quality have a much more noticeable impact on sparkle. Sometimes, practical considerations such as the resulting carat weight or position of inclusions or cost of re-polishing can prevent a diamond being re-polished to achieve a better symmetry grade if it already has a top cut grade.

Perhaps if you share the GIA report, Sarin report, Megascope report and price.

According to the Sarin and Megascope report, the proportions are universally angled.

measurements:
7.00-7.04 x 4.28mm
table: 60%
depth: 61%

pavil angle: 41
medium -thick faceted girdle
no culet
price is $9847

Universally angled?  Can you elaborate?

With what you have posted it could be a very bright diamond.  Depending on minor facets it could receive high marks in AGS and GIA cut grading, but the girdle running to thick will knock it down a grade in both metrics (as you indicated with the VG from GIA).

The price is pretty high compared to others of its class and category in the PS sift.
