Hello:

Several of you recommended that I lower my specs and see how I can do better $$$ wise. Well, now I am down to 3 diamonds (earrings and pendant).

The question is:

WOuld you get

2 IF E 1.25s or (50k approx).

2 VVS1/2 G 1.03 and 1.22 G VVS2 pendant. ($30,000 approx)

Under no circumstances would I ever pay $50,000 for E IF stones for earrings. Even if I won the lottery, I wouldn't.  I am pretty picky about color and clarity, but I went with H VS2 for earrings.  So I'd for sure go with the stones you listed, GVVS 1 ct. earrings and 1.22 for the pendant, I assume. That is lovely quality for earrings and a pendant.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
I agree with Diamondseeker on this.  I would not buy the E IF, no one will know except you.
Double ditto. I wouldn't even go VVS for earrings, it' just not worth it. I would go G VS earrings, pendant and what the hell, for that cash, throw a bracelet into the mix too!
You don't think there is a difference between E and G?
What about these stones? Do they look good?
Yes, they are lovely stones, if these are your chosen colour and clarity requirements, these are beautifully cut, and should look superb!  I would ask Jon if there is a difference between these two diamonds for colour, I would think not, but best to ask the man who can see them to be sure.
Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...
