Actually too much Work hard play hard So you can imagine the work load ! I had a cell call when I was on a 14,000 foot peak in Colorado. It was from my best friend who at the time was at a Nascar event in Milwaukee Wisconsin with her girl friends. Ive known her since the 8th grade , grew up with her ,close to the same block I lived and dated her in my twenties. We were talking about her girl and my son going to college together , and what a great friend she is to the family. She was talking about a messy divorce that was suppose to be over in a few weeks and she told me that if anything happens to her to have the police take a hard look at her husband that has been living 130 miles away for the past 7 years. We also talked about how short life was and she was glad that I was living it to the fullest. To make a long story short , when I returned the local police found her dead in the river. Her head, hands and feet were chopped off to slow down identification from July 4th . Which as of last week it was identified as her.! This long weekend up north will be good for my family to get away . Sorry to lay this on you, its been heavy on my heart since July. Work as hard as you play And Play like its your last day.

Oh my God, Iceman, how horrible! I'm so sorry and really hope this trip helps you and family through the grief.

Im still in shock that something that brutal can happen in a small town ? Our town has 20,000 people in it. I feel sorry for her only child that is stuck at college working at subway and now has an apartment payment and car payment and this years tution! She had to call me to find out how to get her dads phone # ! Were doing what ever we can for her, but down the road she has a lot of growing up to do.
