Hi there. I am new to pricescope and have already seen some phenomenal rings and settings on the site. My boyfriend and I have been to NUMEROUS jewelery stores over the past couple of months and still haven't found what I want for the price that he wants to stay under. I know exactly what kind of setting I want, however, I have mainly only looked at pre set rings because it is hard for me to visualize exactly what a diamond would look like in some of these settings. I would like to find a micro-pave halo setting for a cushion, ascher, or emerald stone. Something like the henri daussi or christopher designs, but I could careless about designer names or if it is platinum. I would like to find a stone that is anywhere from 1.2 - 1.4, no lower than H color and VS2 clarity. My only problem with some of the halo settings, is that you can't fit a normal band under it, there has to be a custom made band that bends, and I don't want that. I also don't want any gaps between the diamond and the setting, as some of henri daussi's designs do. Am I making any sense at all?? lol. Can anyone send me in the right direction? My boyfriend would like to stay right at or under 7k. Thank you so much for your help!!! I am enjoying this site tremendously :) - Lindsey |

I'd check out www.engagementringsdirect.com Mark is great to work with from what I have heard, and has lovely settings. He's also known on here as being the king of cushions. Good luck!!

I'd check out Ritani for settings. they are designed for wedding bands to fit flush.

Martin Flyer, Kirk Kara, and Precision Set all make halos that can accomodate a wedding ring next to the engagement ring. Look for the Flyer Fit link on the Martin Flyer website. Ritani is gorgeous too with their Endless Love collection. Here's a link to a Kirk Kara as an example: http://www.kirkkara.com/#section=gallery&productid=6915A-R

Thank you for all of your input. My only concern with Rittani is that the settings are very expensive, which will take away from the money I can spend toward the diamond. Do you know of any other company that might have settings like rittani without being so expensive?
