I have scoured the internet for years to try and find this ring.  Any help will be very appreciated!

The setting has an E-W half bezel for a RB, but not the kind that is at a right angle to the shank.  The bezel parts branch out in a V shape if you are looking at the gallery.

Like this:

Not like this:

The exact setting I am loking for has a delicate ring of micropave around the base of the "V".  Have you seen anything like this before?

Thanks!

I am sure any reputable jeweller could make this setting as a custom job, I would say it would be very easy. Have you already bought a stone? Maybe you could request a quote from there? If not, try Whiteflash - they made my ering (a variation on a stock setting) and their workmanship is excellent and their prices are good too.

Thanks for your reply, Honey!  Maybe I should explain the situation a little better.  I have seen this setting in person at a B&M.  This B&M is on the shady side and I don't trust them to use the best micropave, set my stone correctly, etc.  I'd prefer not to buy it there.  I've thought about getting it custom, but it kills me to pay extra for that when I know it is out there somewhere!  I know this isn't the B&M's own design, so someone else must be selling it...at least that's my hope

I understand (sometimes I am a bit slow ).  I am not good with finding settings (more of a diamond hunter around these parts) but there are other ladies who know their settings!! Hopefully they will chime in with suggestions. It's a lovely design by the way, and I think you are doing the right thing avoiding the dodgy B&M, you really need to trust your jeweller especially with micropave. If you do end up going custom, it would be worth getting a quote from Leon Mege - not cheap, but his workmanship is second to none apparently, and a lot of PSers will attest to the money being well-worth it. Good luck!!

Leon!  What a great idea.  I don't know why that never occurred to me--maybe because the micropave is more of a minor detail and the design is on the modern/bold side, but I think you are right--he would do a fantastic job with it.  Definitely something to consider...

I think I saw something similar a long time ago by a designed named Joey Clapper, but I can't seem to find his pieces now.  Anyone heard of him?

Is the pave like on Facetfire's ring, only on a bezel setting instead of a prong setting? Her setting is Michael Bondanza.

This Sholdt design setting is also similar but without the pave. Maybe worth contacting Brian Sholdt?

Hi,

You might try Etienne Peret's website. I am looking for something similar and he has alot of half bezel and full bezel variations.

Good Luck!
