I have been trying to not bring up anything that has to do with engagements or weddings (and have been doing darn good thanks to you guys) because he can't afford a ring right now and I don't want to add any pressure to a situation that is out of his hands. Plus my obsessions with rings back at Christmastime upset him. So against my finer judgment, I emailed BF a picture of a ring I loved that I saw here on pricescope. Today he told me he was glad to get that email because it showed him that I have been thinking about marriage as much as he has. Um, excuse me, can you please put my boyfriend on the phone? SO TO THE GOOD PART..... we started talking about rings and he told me that he has become quite friendly with Mark "the cushion guy" (engagement rings direct). They talk on the phone often, and not just about rings, about the weather and weekends plans..... OH MY GOSH! Maybe I won't have to wait 2 years we get engaged or married! YAY! |

that's so exciting!! We're pretty much in the same boat, Izz. The only thing holding us back is the funds  What style are you looking for Mark to make?? Keep us posted

BF is a realtor and we don't see the market getting better soon enough (hence why I thought I would be waiting 2 years), so I am just shocked he has made this much progress! I fell in love the Tiffany NOVO, and while I think Tiffany Co. is a fabulous place, having the Tiffany name on my ring means nothing to me. BF said Mark has sent him a few designs so we'll see!
