Hair Trial and Bridal Pictures!

Cleopatra Ideal Rock Total Posts: 999 Last Post: 11/5/2009 Member Since: 8/8/2007	I wish I wasn't so shy to show my whole face - I'll hopefully move passed my shyness by the time our wedding rolls around, but I wanted to get a few opinions on the whole shebang. I had my hair trial the same day that I had my bridal pictures last week. I have short hair - think the Katie Holmes bob....so I was very excited at the outcome of my hair - it looks like i have a LOT of hair and LONG hair! First pic - side view of hair - not very clear, but you can see my feathery flower :)

I can't believe it....not even a good front view of the hair....my mom was slacking....But I'll post my bridals when I get those in!

It might be useful to check them out! White Oak is going to be amazing! If my FI and my family weren't from Lafayette, I would have definitely booked our wedding there! Lucky girl! My photographer is out of Baton Rouge and I couldn't be more happy with him! He's so creative and great prices! Here's his website! If you need any help, just yell out for me! I would have had to have a big screen at my reception if the wedding were during football season! Chris is good at getting back to people very quickly - it may take 24 hours, but he'll respond! A few other shops in BR to look for dresses are: Bridal Boutique, Bustle, Jeanine's and in New Orleans: Pearl's Place, Town and Country, and a few others (memory is slipping)...GOOD LUCK! You're the first Baton Rouge PSer that I've met! Yay!

Also, too funny that we LA girls have to plan around football. He doesn't care that much about planning the wedding except that it isn't on a football day! Go figure.... jcrow-You may have just given me my honeymoon spot! You posted in my other thread and Ladera is AMAZING! Such good info you have! Okay, for both of you girls, did you/are you having a DJ or a band at your reception. I need a good one for my crazy dancing family! I would LOVE to have a good band, but know it is often more affordable to have a DJ. Also, this is sort of random, but how much should I expect to pay for flowers... I am just going to have the basics, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquet, boutenniers (is that how you spell that?!?!) for groomsmen and family. I am doing something different on the tables, so I wont need flowers there. I was trying to write out my budget and I have never had any experience with flower prices, so any help would be great! Thanks!
