Hello, I have this 18k white gold ring that I am trying to identify the maker because I am looking for one in plat. Anyone have ideas on where this ring came from? Thanks, S I have added it as an attachment, but I am not seeing it in the preview. I hope you can see it. Thanks so much for looking.

Tacori or Kirk Kara would be my two guesses.

that ring looks a lot like hopefulheidi's e-ring. You can do a search for it...I think it was custom made though.

Looks like Tacori HT2229, but that one is not a 3-stone, unless they make it in several different versions. Is this just a photo of the ring, or do you have access to the ring itself?

Wow! Thanks for all the replies everyone. I guess this shows how much I know. I looked over a bunch of tacoris now, and it looks like there are strong resemblances to the tacori rings. This ring does not have an inscription that would lead me to believe it is a tacori, but if I can find a tacori that is identical in plat, I'm all over it!

Why are you getting a platinum one? For those of who can't decide between the two metals what don't you like about WG enough to get a duplicate in Plat?

Is this just a photo of the ring, or do you have access to the ring itself? Actually NeverEndingUpgrade, you are on the right track! The style number for the ring posted by Signo is Tacori HT2259 which is the three stone version of HT2229 ![]() HT2259 is designed to accommodate a round brilliant cut center stone with an outside diameter between 6.0 - 6.9 mm (0.80 - 1.25 carats) and the eternity version of the ring (diamonds all the way around the finger) has a combined accent diamond weight of around 0.90 carats including the two accent stones located on either side of the center stone. As with most Tacori rings, there are also options for center stones which are slightly smaller or larger than the original design. There is also a version of the ring designed for princess cut diamonds... Production time is currently about four weeks from the date of order, but usually extend to 6 - 8 weeks during the holiday season (October - January) in case you're in the planning stages at this point. The reason for the plat is because we have had to keep getting this ring rhodium plated...it doesn't seem to take very long for it to wear off, and the white gold underneath has an ugly tint to it. We had originally wanted to go with platinum, but our original jeweler had talked us out of it (now that I think of it, I don't think they had one). The jeweler said the ring was brand xyz (I left the name out on purpose), but when I went to another jeweler and asked for this ring in plat from xyz, he called xyz and xyz said it was not their ring. I don't think this ring is a tacori original, but would like to find a ring identical to it in plat. We like the weight and feel of a plat ring, and don't want to stress about getting it plated every 6 months to maintain the color. The yellowish tint becomes easily noticeable when the rhodium wears off because we have F color stones.

Obviously the brand "XYZ" knock-off of the Tacori design is not meeting your expectations, why not upgrade to a platinum version of the real thing? Todd L. Gray, President |
